More than a decade ago, Renée and her parents visited the backyard studio of a local artist named Mary Jo, known for her hand-painted creations made from upcycled materials. They were instantly drawn to her charming bird feeders—full of color, character, and craftsmanship. One of those feeders became a Mother’s Day gift for Renée’s mom, and it still hangs in her yard today.
Fast forward 12+ years, and Renée gets a call from Mary Jo herself. She remembered Renée from that visit and said she’d made an impression—so much so that when it came time to sell her family’s home, she reached out. That full-circle moment meant everything.
The House Sold in One Day
That very same backyard (and house) that they had visited sold in just one day. The beautifully updated three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath house in Garner’s Woodsdale neighborhood offered nearly an acre of arboretum-style bliss—and didn’t last long.

We’re also celebrating a recent buyer closing with our teammate Robin. This one came full circle too—a past client referred us to their friend, who ended up purchasing a townhome that had been beautifully remodeled by another one of our former clients (who has since gotten his real estate license!). It always amazes us how real estate is so intertwined.
