It is hard to believe I have been calling North Carolina home for over 40 years! We moved to Charlotte when I was nine months old, then to Cary in 1990, where I attended Apex Middle School and Apex High School. After that, it was off to North Carolina State University and with my degree in Business Management, I was ready to conquer the world. (Aren’t we all?! 😉). I got into real estate kind of by accident – through high school and college, I assisted an agent in doing what I call “grunt work” and it parlayed into several different opportunities. After graduation, an opportunity to go into sales full time presented itself and I said, “Heck, why not?!”

I have loved real estate since I was a kid. Instead of cartoons, it was “This Old House”… yes, sadly enough, that is true! I went with my dad every day to look at our four custom-built homes that I grew up in to make sure everything was ok. I am a tenacious negotiator but I think that comes from growing up with four girls in one family – you have to fight for what you want and be heard. I built my first house in Apex, then did a remodel in Cary, and now I’m back to Raleigh… I couldn’t be that far from my Wolfpack! I am passionate about what I do, to me that is the key to success, everything else falls into place after that. I am fortunate I found something that I love and get to work with a great group of clientele. I couldn’t ask for a better fit or choice in my career.

Although the process is similar in each go-around, every one of my clients has brought a special twist but it forces me to learn and grow every day! I have had the pleasure of being featured in Entrepreneur Magazine, voted “Best Realtor” by IndyWeek readers, winning the Mom’s Choice Award for “Best Real Estate Agent in the Triangle”, and made my big television debut on HGTV’s “Bang for Your Buck” with Vern Yip! (It was an awesome experience and had a ton of fun being on camera!)

I am a consistent Top Producer in the top 1% locally and top 50, to be exact. I am also in the top 2% of our brokerage nationally. I have overseen well over 1,800 transactions and managed millions upon millions of dollars in real estate. This is one business that I feel experience really does count. I have a small but manageable team that is packed with a punch. I am hands-on and know the details of every transaction. Tech-savvy and smartphone attached to my hip, your calls are returned if not answered and emails are responded to as promptly as possible. This goes for my whole team. Basically to sum me up: I am direct and to the point, I don’t mince words, and I am not afraid to really stand up for what I believe in.

On a personal note, I am always ready for football season as an avid member of the Wolfpack Club! I am sure several of you have your favorite ACC school to cheer for too, and if you don’t, I am sure you’ll adopt one soon as a Triangle-area resident!
