Our team was so pumped to hit the pavement back in April to support Note in the Pocket!
The sixth annual family-friend fun run was held Saturday, April 27, one a beautiful spring morning at Raleigh’s Dix Park. Friends and family laced up their walking and running shoes to join us in raising money to help “clothe children with dignity and love”, Note in the Pocket’s mission that we’re proud to support year after year.
Lots of our neighbors – friends and strangers alike – joined in and to date have raised over $80,000 to help local students in need! We’re in awe… what a morning for Note in the Pocket.
Thank you to all of you who donated to our team’s fundraising goal and especially to those who joined us for a little sunshine and lots of steps. This is always a good team-building event for us and we were stoked to have some friends and clients join our families on the course this year.
It was especially fun for the kiddos who enjoyed the shorter fun run and face painting. The weather could not have been better for enjoying such a cool route. We adults geeked out as we walked through so much of Raleigh’s history while listening to the Pullen Park train whistle tooting.
We look forward to joining in again next year and as always, keep your eyes open for our next undie supply drive!
