It isn’t often that someone like Joan Johnston rings us up to get started on a new real estate purchase. But when they do, we’re ready to jump into action – while keeping our cool, of course.
About Joan Johnston
Let’s back up a second and tell you a little about Joan, first. She’s written over 150 books throughout the course of her career. Yes, 150 books! “Classy” and “smart” are the words we would use to describe getting to know Joan throughout the buying process. We also learned that she’s had several careers prior to making the shift to “author”, including working as a teacher and a corporate attorney. It was on a business trip to New York, in fact, that Joan stumbled into a writers’ conference and purchased a book on how to write. Her new career grew from there and since, she’s spent the last 30 years writing.
Kindred Spirits
A woman after our own HREG hearts, Joan loves to travel to do research for her books and enjoys visiting Cheesecake Factory for a tasty treat from time to time. As part of the client process, we helped Joan evaluate purchasing multiple properties for investment purposes by looking closely at rental numbers and providing rental management company recommendations so Joan could maximize the ROI on her investments here in the Triangle area.
In addition to pulling some of our Joan Johnston favorites off our bookshelves, we also had to stop by the Streets at Southpoint to split a slice of cheesecake over lunch… what a treat!
