We’re Halfway Through Our 2022 Undies Drive!
October is one of our favorite months for two reasons. Number one, fall. Number two, and more importantly, it’s the month of our Undies Drive! We are now halfway through our sixth annual Undies Drive for our friends at Note in the Pocket and we have an exciting announcement… We are also halfway to our goal of donating 5,000 pairs of underwear by Nov. 1, 2022!

We are so happy about how well this drive has been going but we still need your help! We get asked all the time, “why undies?” The answer is a simple one. Underwear is a basic necessity. Everyone needs underwear but the sad truth is not everyone has underwear. In fact, over 50,000 students in the Wake County School System are at or below the poverty level. No matter how large or small the donation, you can help us get to 5,000 pairs of new underwear for these students.
Last week, we had the opportunity to visit Note in the Pocket to help them sort clothes and it was so exciting to see all the donations they had coming in!
We would like to thank everyone who has already participated by donating underwear or money and we hope you will continue to help us reach our goal. It’s *super* easy to participate. All you have to do is shop our Amazon Wish List or our Target Wish List, and send new undies to our office (Attn: Renee Hillman, 100 Lynn Road, Raleigh, NC 27609), or feel free to drop off.
Monetary donations are perfectly acceptable, too! You can contribute directly to Renée or feel free to Venmo her at @Renee_Hillman or Paypal her. HREG at eXp Realty will be matching donations, undie for undie, dollar for dollar up to $5,000!

Note in the Pocket provides clothing to impoverished and homeless schoolchildren in Wake County and Durham County with dignity and love. They believe that it is unacceptable for children to be limited in their educational and social development because they do not have appropriate clothes for school and we are proud to support their efforts.
