HREG’s Ninth Annual Undies Drive: Helping Kids Start the School Year Right
Every year, HREG hosts our Undies Drive to collect new underwear for children in need. This simple, practical donation makes a huge difference—helping students start school with confidence, comfort, and dignity. We’ve loved making this an annual tradition and are always amazed at how you show up to support this deserving local organization.
This year, we’re kicking off the ninth annual Undies Drive for our friends at Note in the Pocket at the start of the school year, because it’s the kids who matter most!
When: Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025 – Friday, Oct. 10, 2025
About Note in the Pocket
Note in the Pocket provides clothing to impoverished and homeless schoolchildren in Wake and Durham Counties with dignity and love. They believe it is unacceptable for children to be limited in their educational or social development because they do not have appropriate clothes for school—and we are proud to support their efforts.
Did you know there are over 50,000 students in the Wake County School System who are at or below the poverty level? No matter how large or small your donation, you can help a student in need.
How to Give
It’s *super* easy to participate. All you have to do is shop our Amazon Wish List or our Target Wish List, and send new undies to our office (Attn: Renee Hillman, 100 Lynn Road, Raleigh, NC 27609), or feel free to drop off.
Monetary donations are perfectly acceptable, too! You can contribute directly to Renée or feel free to Venmo her at @Renee_Hillman or Paypal her. Donations will be accepted through Friday, Oct. 10, 2025.
Hillman Real Estate Group at eXp Realty will be matching donations undie for undie, dollar for dollar, up to $5,000, doubling the impact of your generosity.
