HREG Year in Review: Raising Our Glasses to 2023! 🥂

Andddd that’s a wrap on 2023! We had another amazing year here at Hillman Real Estate Group. We’re proud to say we achieved a lot while also giving back to the community, hit new milestones, made unforgettable memories with our team and clients, and—of course—sold a lot of homes! All in all, we’re grateful for the opportunities and successes we had in 2023, and we can’t wait to see what 2024 brings. Here, we reflect on some of our favorite triumphs from the past year. Crowning Achievement: Renée Hillman Recognized As a Triangle Real Producers Top 100 Agent for 2023

Let’s hear it for Renée! This year, Triangle Real Producers Magazine put together a list of Triangle Real Producers TOP 100 agents for 2023, and our fearless leader made the top 100! There are over 15,000 members in our MLS, so making the top 100 is quite the honor. Congrats to HREG’s boss lady!

Renée Served as Co-Chair of the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS®’s Top Producers Council

HREG’s Renée Hillman has been an active member of the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS®’s Top Producers Council for many years, and this past year, she proudly served as co-chair of the organization! Renée co-chaired with another real estate veteran, Sandy Edwards—and together they planned all the wonderful speakers, content, topics, and charity donations for 2023.

You Came Through With Your Undies!

Our annual Undies Drive is one of our favorite events of the year! You all knocked it out of the park once again, as this year we raised TKTKT pairs of underwear and donated $TKTKT. Thanks to everyone who participated this year!

A Year of Giving Back

Giving back to the community is so important to us here at HREG. In addition to our annual Undies Drive, we gave back in a number of ways this year!

• For seven years now, we have sponsored an apartment furnishing with the REALTOR® Giving Network, which Renée is a former board member of. For this year’s project, we volunteered with The Carying Place, and partnered up with our great vendor partners Steve and Stephanie, two of our long-time, go-to, fabulous lenders from Prime Lending.
• Renée had the pleasure of representing the Triangle’s Top Producers Council for the check presentation to the REALTOR® Giving Network, which provides funding to nonprofits that address unmet housing needs in Wake County to strike out homelessness.
• We volunteered at the Note in the Pocket for I Heart eXp Day to help them sort clothes, and it was so exciting to see all the donations they had coming in! 
• We are a GOLD Level PTA Sponsor for Hilburn Academy, part of the Wake County Public School System.
• We supported Backpack Buddies, Inter-Faith Food Shuttle‘s program that provides schoolchildren experiencing food insecurity with nutritious, kid-friendly, pre-packed meals for the weekend.

Oh, What Fun!

Sure, we do our part in giving back to the community and helping people find their dream homes, but we also have a lot of fun too! Here are some special moments from 2023.

• We reached 200 Google reviews! Thanks to everyone for your support—we couldn’t have done it without you.
• We hosted Santa and had a great time taking professional photos of families and their kids. This is one of our favorite events of the holiday season, and it sure brought us a ton of joy!
• Renée served on a rockstar panel of top agents for a night of networking and collaboration for Unleash Your Potential.
• “I feel cool. That is all.” —Renée. Peep her go-to fresh, white Vionic Winny sneaks!
• The HREG team created vision boards for the year in an effort to grow professionally and personally together. Teamwork makes the dream work!
• Renée enjoyed an amazing night at Rey’s Restaurant celebrating end-of-year REALTORS®’s Top Producers in the Triangle.
• Renée’s daughter ran the Girls on the Run 5K at Koka Booth Amphitheatre. … But the real cherry on top was that her running buddy was Jonathan Edwards!
• We toured beautiful homes during the annual Triangle Parade of Homes to keep up with both current and future real estate trends—and to fawn over gorgeous houses, of course!
• We attended the eXp Regional Rally in Charlotte, an “inspiring day of learning, recognition, coaching, and camaraderie.” It was so fun to learn and network with fellow agents!
• Renée achieved ICON Status with eXp for the third year in a row (!). This honor signals that these agents are leaders in their field and serve as examples to their colleagues by upholding the core values of eXp Realty. Out of almost 80,000 eXp agents, only around 1.5% reach ICON status. Shout out Renée!
• We visited FurnitureLand South in Jamestown, NC, the largest retail furniture store in the country at 1.3 million square feet. It was such a fun experience to shop around and learn about all the many brands and what they have to offer!
• Our team attended many guest speaker and educational events—including the RDU Airport, Economics of NC, NC Real Estate Commission, and so much more.
• Collectively we completed over 40 hours of continuing education!
