We have some happiness to share and it is all thanks to you…
We set the goal high for our Fourth Annual Undies Drive benefitting our friends at Note in the Pocket and you all hit it out of the park. We wanted to donate 4,000 pairs of undies and we were able to donate 5,714 pairs! (We did 1,100 in 2017, 2,100 in 2018, and 3,428 in 2019.)
We had over 114 different people and businesses participate in this year’s event. We would like to specifically mention a few of our vendor partners who stepped up in a big way including Craig McCall at The McCall Law Firm, Stephanie Davis at Prime Lending (who was our single largest donor!), Scott Makseyn at Triangle Inspection Group, and Andy Morse at ASK Appraisals.
From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank all of our amazing clients, partners, vendors, friends, and family, for supporting our efforts to help this great organization which serves our most-in-need community neighbors.
A Little More About Note in the Pocket
Note in the Pocket provides clothing to impoverished and homeless schoolchildren in Wake County with dignity and love. They believe that it is unacceptable for children to be limited in their educational and social development because they do not have appropriate clothes for school and we are proud to support their efforts.
