" alt="Hillman Real Estate Group" />Just before the Christmas weekend break, we boxed up all the donations of undies and socks that we received for Note in the Pocket and we headed over to visit their awesome Volunteer Center that is home to their mission of “clothing children with dignity and love”.
We could not be more thankful for the 1,218 pieces that our clients, referral partners, and service providers helped donate to the humbling work of Note in the Pocket and we were beyond excited to be able to pack a little something extra to go along with the donated items – a $2,500 check from Hillman Real Estate Group!
Did you know that there are 53,000 students in Wake County who live in poverty? The donations provided to Note in the Pocket provides “well-fitting, weather appropriate clothes to children without.”
As part of our quarterly volunteering efforts in 2018, we’ll be spending a day working in the Volunteer Center and look forward to sharing that experience with you. Stay tuned in the new year and thanks again for your support of our year-end donation drive!
